A Life Lesson about Positive Energy-----The Award Ceremony of Intercom INT’L & Wuhan University’s Media Scholarship in 2013

The award ceremony of Intercom INT’L& Wuhan University’s Media Scholarship was held in Wuhan University’s Journalism and Communication Department at 2 p.m. on 6th, Jan. The Media Scholarship of Intercom INT’L& Wuhan University is contributive established by Intercom INT’L Communication Group. Its object is the full- time students in reading of Wuhan University’s Journalism and Communication Department, including undergraduates, postgraduates and doctors. Its award setting is Golden Award, Silver Award and Bronze Award. 20 students was awarded in 2014. Intercom INT’L Communication Group’s president Deng Chaoming and the director of human resource Yang Chunyan, Wuhan University’s Journalism and Communication Department’s vice president Shan Bo and Qiang Yuexin, department’s deputy party secretary Chu Jing and Zhang Qi, Advertising Department’s director Yao Xi attended this ceremony.
On behalf of Shi Yibin, the president of Journalism and Communication Department, the vice president Qiang Yuexin made a speech. He expressed sincere congratulations to the students who got the scholarship firstly. “I believe that this scholarship will let you have stronger competitiveness in media practice. Its means a lot to your study and employment in future.” He expressed his appreciation to Intercom INT’L Communication Group and hoped this media scholarship can hold better and better continually.
Yang Chunyan, the human resource director of Intercom INT’L Communication Group, read out the scholarship winners’ list in public’s warm applause. Those winners included 12 undergraduates, 7 postgraduates and 1 doctor. “Today is the 15th anniversary of my company and in this lucky day I have deep feeling for these outstanding students”, president Deng Chaoming said. In his view, the success of a person or a company cannot lack of firm goals, knowledge and the accumulation of interpersonal relationships. The support of relatives, friends and supervisors is absolutely necessary. “ I hope you students can turn into society as soon as possible with the stronger mentality and running- in it”, he told students earnestly, “During this time, the youth must grasp three opportunities : learn from teachers in school; learn from colleagues’ strong points to offset yourself’s weakness in company; sublimate your mind by yourself.”
He talked about following points according to his own experience: a. The more you pay the more you gain. He wanted to let students know that the importance of reading and practicing; b. The uglier your mind is, the more painful you will suffer. He warned the students that the selfish and greed would make the way you choose narrower but your vision would wider if you help more people and give love to who need it; c. The more beautiful your soul is, the more beautiful future you will have. He taught students that they should appreciate to society and the people who helped them. It is a good habit that be sincere to people. In addition, he also expressed his congratulations and hope to the students who got this scholarship. Liu Wei, the student of Journalism Department who got the scholarship, delivered her acceptance speech. She gave an account of her achievements in media theory and practice to teachers and students.

Finally she expressed her heartfelt thanks to Intercom INT’L. As a top students in grade 2010 of Journalism Department, she had been recommended for admission to Renmin University of China’s Journalism Department.
In addition, Xiao Chengjia,another winner who was the student in grade 2010 of Advertising Department told her experience and comprehension after her internship in Intercom INT’L. During her internship, her work The Death of Swan represented Intercom INT’L won the Golden Award in the category of broadcast& advertising of the International Creative Festival in 2013 ROI Festival. She had been recommended for admission to Fudan University’s Journalism Department.
The students showed their expectations to future and their belief and ideals to become an excellent media workers to their teachers in the end of the ceremony.
In addition, Xiao Chengjia,another winner who was the student in grade 2010 of Advertising Department told her experience and comprehension after her internship in Intercom INT’L. During her internship, her work The Death of Swan represented Intercom INT’L won the Golden Award in the category of broadcast& advertising of the International Creative Festival in 2013 ROI Festival.
